This application uses a single-side feeding die cutting machine to half-cut paperboard for packaging boxes. Half-cutting means the paperboard is processed to a controlled depth without being cut completely through. The operator changes the material and collects the finished parts.
How the Process Works
The feeding table carries the paperboard into and out of the cutting area. After each cycle, the operator replaces the sheet and removes the processed parts. The cutting depth must be adjusted according to the paperboard, die and required fold or separation result.
Why Material Testing Matters
Paperboard grade, thickness and surface construction can affect the half-cut result. A sample test helps confirm the die condition, pressure setting and repeatability before production.
Information Needed for Machine Selection
Please provide the paperboard specification, sheet size, finished-box dimensions, die layout, required half-cut depth and target output.
