Stacked EPE foam sheets can be straight-cut on a vertical cutting machine, with the operator guiding the material across the blade. This example shows how an open worktable supports sheet positioning during repeated cuts.

What the demonstration shows
The video follows stacked EPE foam at the cutting table. The blade provides a straight cutting path; the operator positions and advances the material. The stack is handled as a group during the cut.
This is a material-sizing operation. It reduces the length or width of the incoming sheets. It can prepare smaller blanks for later processing, including a separate die-cutting stage when the finished part requires a die-defined outline.
Why the worktable matters
Large foam sheets need support while being positioned. Table dimensions should suit the incoming material and the space needed to guide it through the cut. The vertical cutting machine range includes customizable worktables; the table shown in this video is one arrangement.
For a different material or stack, check that the sheets can be supported and guided through the required cut. Check the proposed stack height using the actual foam thickness and density.
Preparing blanks for the next operation
Pre-cut size depends on the next process, its loading space and the intended cutting layout. The EPE pre-cutting guide explains when smaller sections are useful before die cutting.
To review a similar job, send the incoming sheet size, material thickness and required blank dimensions through our project contact page. Include the proposed stack height if several sheets will be cut together.
