Description
This GEA-T400 configuration is a 40-ton automatic sheet-feeding die cutting press for leather, rubber and foam. The feeding arrangement positions material for die cutting; the required feeder configuration is selected around the sheet dimensions and cutting layout.

Automatic Sheet Feeding for Die Cutting
Sheet size, thickness and die layout determine how the material needs to enter and move through the cutting area. Automatic material positioning is one part of that process.
Compare the Feeding Arrangement with the Material Format
Provide the incoming sheet dimensions and finished-part drawing when specifying the feeder. Also identify how sheets will be supplied to the machine and how the cut parts will be collected.
For EPE packaging sheets, the EPE sheet-feeding comparison explains the differences between roller feeding and table-based arrangements. See the EPE foam cutting application for a separate project example.
The GEA-T400 travelling-head page describes the head structure. Return to the hydraulic die cutting machine range to compare press types.
